My role is to manage the overall operations of the Foundation, which includes fiscal oversight, community relationships and corporate partnerships, fundraising efforts, supervision of staff and all marketing and public relations campaigns

I love that we get to play a small role in assisting patients on their journey to recovery. We are able to step in and eliminate the fear of having to choose between putting fuel in their vehicle to get to the cancer center for treatment and paying their water bill or having to decide between buying chemo meds and paying the mortgage. We are giving direct patient support and services to cancer patients throughout central Alabama.

We serve patients from 32 counties in Central Alabama, not just the river region. Some patients travel more than two hours one-way, several times a week for treatment.

I love to travel. So far, I have vacationed in 13 different countries and visited 24 different states. I hope to add new countries and states to my list soon!
