At the end of 2021, I felt a lump on my breast. I was 31 years old at the time, so I didn’t think much of it but I did want to get it checked out just to be safe. I saw my doctor a few weeks later and that kickstarted my journey with Breast cancer. I was diagnosed and in the early stages of Breast Cancer. I had a double mastectomy at the beginning of 2022 followed by 6 months of chemotherapy. In 2023, I was declared in remission and I had breast reconstructive surgery. One thing about being a Breast cancer survivor has taught me is that you have to have faith and trust God. I want to be a light and an example for others to show them that things can work out for the better.
